As a SQA Engineer, you will debug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Experience developing, modifying and executing software test plans is required. In addition, you will maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. You will also analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action. Must have experience consulting with development engineers in resolution of problems and be able to provide feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software. The SQA Engineer also ensures quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute software test plans, test designs, test objectives, and test cases.
2. Identify, analyze and document defects, questionable behavior, errors and inconsistencies with application functionality, output, online screens and content.
3. Develop automated test solutions using state:of:the:art software testing tools and practices.
4. Work with software development engineers in product design, code reviews, walkthroughs and product lifecycle inspections.
5. Problem investigation and resolution.
6. Respond to inquiries from technical support regarding functions and operation of software applications.
7. Report test results and analysis.
8. Verify documentation and on:line help content.
9. Perform knowledge transfer sessions for Services, Support Center and other staff.
Qualifications:
Experience:
This position requires a minimum of 2 years related experience.
Education: Bachelors degree in a related field is required. Field of study in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering is preferred.

Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.
