Job Description Position Purpose:
Manage site services to provide maintenance and services to the facility in a cost effective manner.
Education: 4 yr degree in engineering, business, or planning.
Experience:
* 5 years in facilities maintenance
* 2 years in negotiations of contracts and contract management Mandatory
Technical/Process/Functional Knowledge:
* Building Maintenance knowledge/experience Mandatory
* Knowledge of security systems
* Contract negotiations/ contract management
* Management of various fulltime contractors
* Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations
* Participation in emergency Response teams
* Pharmaceutical experience a plus
* Good communication and writing skills
* Working knowledge of fire detection/suppression/prevention systems
Organization/Planning: Able to develop and manage action plans to achieve targets.
Requirements:
* Ability to work in areas with odors/hazardous materials, near operating equipment, in high places, confined spaces and in moderate to loud noise environments.
* Available to work hours necessary to support production and maintenance activities.
* Service attitude: Demonstrates a "How can I help you today" attitude. Mandatory
Additional Information Accountabilities:
* Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties
* Negotiate and manage contracts for services while improving value
* Maintain the facilities and respond timely to building maintenance requests
* Provide security for exterior entrances, critical areas, and employee safety
* Participate with the spill response and first aid teams
* Maintain good housekeeping of the facilities and proactively audit the cleanliness
* Maintain Site Services sharepoint site and records
* Provide back up support for waste management and fire protection systems
* Other accountabilities as assigned
