As Server Room Facility Coordinator, you will maintain and improve the operational reliability and predictability for the banks primary and disaster recovery data center server room facilities. This role will be configure and install all makes of server, network switches, and storage devices.
Additional responsibilities:
: Provide technology installation support and coordinate the architecture of physical computer floor space.
: Manage computer room and coordinate facilities.
: Provide recommendations for local floor space use.

Position Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in computer hardware and raised floor management/coordination.
:Or:
High school diploma with a minimum of 8 years of experience in computer hardware and raised floor management/coordination.
Additional Requirements:
: Working knowledge of computer equipment including electrical and cooling requirements.
: Experience with flowcharting, spreadsheet and word processing.
: Asset management of computer room hardware, power and cooling.
: Working knowledge of cabling/fiber standards and working with cabling/fiber vendors.
: Mechanically inclined (able to use facility tools).
: Knowledge of power balancing (Electricity).
: Ability to physically (un)rack servers.
: Strong team building skills.
: Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
: Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency.
: Ability to work weekends or extended days as operational needs dictate.
: Ability to work day or evening hours as operational needs dictate.
: Accuracy and attention to detail.
: Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects.
: Ability to work within strict time frames and resolute deadlines.
: Self:motivated and ability to work independently.
: Excellent communication, project management, problem:solving, and organizational skills.
Other Preferred Qualifications:
: Previous First Citizens Bank experience.
: Computer, Electrical or Mechanical engineering skills to include certifications pertaining to technology and operations.
: ITIL V3 Foundation Certification.
