Job Description Position Purpose: Support all facility maintenance efforts including preventive/predictive maintenance efforts, repairs, troubleshooting, and new equipment installation.
Education: AA/AS/AAS in relevant field and /or certification/license/qualified in ONE of the listed processes in the "Process" section and industrial training which includes a thorough understanding of mechanical, electrical and control systems. Mandatory
Experience: 3:5 years of relevant work experience. Mandatory
Technical/Process/Functional Knowledge: Knowledgeable in the following systems: Compressed Air, HVAC Systems, High Pressure/Low Pressure Steam, Clean/Purified Steam, WFI Systems, RO/WFI Pre:treatment, Chill Water Systems, BMS (Building Management System) and Instrumentation and Electrical systems. In addition, ability and experience with automated records systems such as SAP, schematics, wiring diagrams and other engendered documentations.
Organization/Planning: Proven expertise in planning/organizing, managing execution, checking results, and revising the work plan in accordance with the daily work plan.
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. with assistance.
* Ability to work in confined spaces and near operating equipment.
* Ability to work in loud noisy environments with hearing protection.
* Ability to work hours necessary to support production and /or maintenance activities.
* Ability to stand on feet up to 12 hours or longer per day or night.
Additional Information Accountabilities:
* Generate 3C/A3/ using SPS tools
* Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on systems and equipment
* Operate, monitor, control equipment, systems and processes assigned
* Review and author SOP's and PM's documentation and others as required
* Support and implementation of System/Equipment reliability improvement projects
* Train fellow employees in areas of expertise, and aggressively learn systems and equipment outside of own expertise
* Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties
* Other accountabilities as assigned
* Participation in plant Shutdown planning and execution
* Growth and development of the Facility Maintenance Team
* Assure that all Maintenance activities are documented in SAP and communicated in the shift turnover reports
* Actively use the Daily Standard Work Tool to account for the day to day activities
