Tape extensions are re-useable, seamless hair extensions that are pre taped and made from high quality 100% human hair. It requires no additional adhesives on the scalp, weaving, braiding, clips, bonding, chemicals, or messy removal. Easy to apply. The hair extensions can last for 6 - 12 weeks depending on your activity and how you take care of your hair, and for a total of 6 months if taken care of very well and reused.
Now any woman can change their length and volume with ease! Affordable, lightweight and easy to attach, these virtually undetectable seamless hair extensions can be applied and removed in a matter of minutes.
MICROLINK HAIR EXTENSIONS DESCRIPTION:
This is the most popular method of strand by strand hair extensions that I do in my salon. It is also my favorite hair extensions method to install. The hair extensions for microlink hair extensions are made especially for this type of method. I can custom-make your hair extensions or I order them for you from my distributor. A consultation is always complementary so that I can match your hair texture and color.
A small bead or cylinder is used to attach the strands of extensions to your natural hair. A clamp is used to secure the extension hair to your natural hair. The extensions last 3-4 months and look very natural (up to 9 months if you get adjustments and you can re-use your hair). I always teach my clients how to take care of their hair extensions to ensure that they get the most out of their hair extensions.
Typically, my clients need an adjustment after 8 - 12 weeks. It is not realistic to wear these hair extensions for 6 -9 months continuously as some people advertise. Hair can be re-used with this type of extension method. (Microlink Hair Extensions are more practical for clients who would like to re-use their extension hair for up to 9 months). Microlink hair is different from hair used for Thermal Fusion Hair Extensions. I can explain the differences during consultations.
Service usually takes about 2 - 3 hours but a more specific time can be determined during the consultation
75 - 100 strands are usually advised to add fullness and length
125 - 200 strands are advised for volume and length
Removal of fusions should only be done by a professional. When removed with care and skill, the removal process is painless and stress-free. Do not attempt to take out any hair extensions if you do not know what you are doing. Always consult your hairstylist before you attempt to remove fusion hair extensions.
